Today was the first day back to school after Spring Break, and I miss it already. It came and left in such a hurry I’m still not use to my regular school schedule. Not to mention all those days of going to bed at 5 in the morning and sleeping in until 1-2 in the afternoon, midnight video gaming, and consecutive poker nights are now a thing of the past :’(

During the latter half of my break, I would stay up really late playing DOTA or Heroes of Newerth with the broski’s. Every night, my dad would come home around 2am, and give me a WTF look because I was still up. I’d play for a few hours, pass out around 4-5 in the morn, and wake up feeling totally re-energized. Ahh, sleeping in until the early afternoon was one of the best parts about my break. And boy, do I miss it.

Throughout the break, some of the bro’s would come over to my place, and we’d play poker or Risk too. And even though I may have been tired after working a good five hour work shift, just chilling out with the broski’s made up for it. I just wish I could go back in time to that Risk game and picked better countries to start with, AND have not spilled rice all over my 10 month old pair of Nudies. Damn, LOL.

Oh, and I just have to mention the most depressing part of my break as well. Everyone knows about daylight savings on Sunday at 2am, right? Well, I looked at the clock change from 1:59 to 3:00am, and it felt like something had stabbed my heart. It was more painful than getting kicked in the balls with steel toe boots.

So yeah, today was the first day back to school. I woke up at 8am compared to the usual 1-2pm, but it wasn’t that hard to get up because I went to bed at 1. And since I had the usual feeling of passing out in first block, I’d like to think I’ve gone back to the usual schedule. It kind of sucked because I thought today was a day one, but it was a day two so I didn’t have day two stuff. Then again, I did have two spares :)

Blah, I just really wished Spring Break was two weeks. Burnaby schools always get shafted, GG.
